​Hallie Wang Piano Studio : finding inspirations

With a specialization in piano pedagogy (piano teaching) in addition to her performing background as a solo pianist and chamber musician, Hallie received her Master’s Degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign under the guidance of Dr. Reid Alexander, Dr. William Heiles and Ian Hobson. She received her Bachelor Degree in music performance from the University of California, Irvine with Dr. Lorna Griffitt.

She enjoys teaching students at different ages, and levels, helping them to have a strong foundation in music while maintaining a close relationship with them. Many of them continue to keep in touch with her even after going to college.

Julie Chubb, pianist, began studying the instrument at a young age. She was an audition based scholarship recipient from Cal State Fullerton. Her other awards include, Certificate of Merit Level Advanced with State Honors, MTAC State convention performer, Participant of the Royal Conservatory of Music, and Director’s Award for Band recipient.

Her charismatic personality and love for music make her the perfect candidate for teaching younger student who are exploring the fun of music.
