What Tuition Covers

  • Continue education

  • Lesson prepping

  • Development of teaching materials and progress reports.

  • Studio expenses of bookkeeping, copying, and incentive programs.

  • Recitals: preparation of program

  • Professional organization membership to enhance teaching quality and provide students with opportunities for competitions, exams, and festivals.

  • Tax/Insurance: believe it or not, private piano instructors pay an addition 15% of self-emploeement tax with the regular tax duty. That is close to 50% of the tuition.
